Arts…the voice of the
artist to the heart of the audience.
Ovation Arts, in keeping with its
mission, is dedicated “….to promote the performing arts by giving local
artists, both amateur and professional, an outlet and a voice for their
talents and gifts.” As long as there have been concerts, plays, and
musicals in this area, artists have been searching for the best place to
present their performances. There really is not a suitable place
nearby for many of these shows and concerts. That will be changing in
the near future.
The Ovation Arts
Board of Directors has resolved to build a Performing Arts Center in an
artist-friendly, aesthetic space in Huntsville and in close proximity
to Madison and Monrovia. This center will bring the performing arts to
a community that has grown by leaps and bounds and is ready to embrace
the talent that is so abundant here.
Companies
and individuals who would like to help support this exciting new
endeavor can contribute in many different ways, including sponsoring specific areas of the Center or
making a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one. A Wall of Honor
will showcase those in the community who have stepped up to make the
Ovation Performing Arts Center possible. Because Ovation Arts is a
non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code, your
contributions are tax deductible.
Ovation
Arts is planning a 36,000 square foot Performing Arts Center including
a Theater; Music, Dance, and Art Studios; and much more. This will be a
place where area musicians, artists, dancers, actors, and anyone
interested in the fine and performing arts can find a home.
